Can't Stomach Cancer Can't Stomach Cancer is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation dedicated to advancing funding for stomach cancer research, raising awareness about the disease, and providing education and support internationally for patients, families, and caregivers. Stomach cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in men and fourth among women worldwide. Each year approximately 22,000 Americans will be diagnosed with stomach cancer and over 10,000 will die. Nearly 930,000 people worldwide are diagnosed each year with stomach cancer and approximately 700,000 die of the disease. Per cancer death, stomach cancer receives the least amount of federal funding.

The Children´s Fund for GSD Research Glycogen Storage Disease Type 1a is a rare genetic disorder that prevents the body from properly metabolizing glycogen (a stored form of Glucose), which is the essential energy source for every cell in the body. Children with GSD1 appear normal at birth, so the disease may not be diagnosed until impaired breathing, seizures, coma and even death occur during the first three to four months of life. Currently there is no cure for GSD1. The Children's Fund for GSD Research is committed to funding research that promises early detection, treatment and an eventual cure.
